As an aside, readers of this site should also grasp that as far as prophecy is concerned, ten nations in Europe have already combined in association with one another to the degree that the mixture of clay and iron is fulfilled. All that remains is their entrance into a final war, a prophecy that can be fulfilled quickly, as this posting will cover.

How is it possible or even conceivable that all these things can happen in such a short time? And what if none of these events have occurred as late as five, four, or even three days before Jesus Christ is to return? Is it truly reasonable that Christ is coming on May 27th? No, it is not reasonable, not within the parameters of man’s thinking. When this date was given just over three and a half years ago, it was not reasonable to people then, and now it has simply become that much more unreasonable.

But as the last apostle in this age, and as God’s end-time prophet, I am still telling people that this is true and that a short-lived WWIII is now at our doorstep. Due to this strong conviction, the Church of God – PKG is putting all its resources into promoting this final message of Christ’s impending return in order to complete the “work” that God has given us to do. This “work” is nearly complete. As my previous post was written over two months ago, this may well prove to be my final one, since there are only four weeks remaining in this age.

When I began writing posts for this site, I initially envisioned the possible need of writing more often, primarily due to our preparing for the possibility of “great tribulation” beginning at the very start of this final three and one-half year period. However, great physical tribulation did not begin at that time, and it thankfully has not yet begun. So the need to write more often in order to help people deal with tribulation that could have begun early on has not been needed. But rather, in the midst of horrifying prophecies for this end-time, God has revealed in a most powerful manner one of His greatest attributes toward His creation—toward mankind. It is the awesome quality of “mercy”!

As the Church was fully ready to immediately enter into the period of “great physical tribulation,” or at the least, within six to nine months after this final period of three and one-half years began, God began to reveal His will for “how” this final end-time would unfold. It would be in a manner that would give (or allow for) the greatest possible potential to deliver the largest number of people into a new age upon Christ’s return. Therefore, God inspired His Church early on to enter a two-day fast in order to draw closer to God and then petition Him to provide the means whereby “more” people could be saved alive to live into the new millennial period. That means and manner whereby God would accomplish this was revealed to be through His love filled “mercy” for His creation.

What Seems Right
A fast approaching fixed date of May 27th for Christ’s return does not seem reasonable to people. It just does not seem right. Throughout time, those things that God has given to people in the form of prophecy and instruction just do not seem right to mankind. Human nature has always resisted the true ways of God.

To those who watched for decades as Noah and his family built a large ship, it wasn’t reasonable to people that this ship would ever be set adrift or that God would destroy the rest of mankind in an ensuing flood. All this seemed so far fetched that people simply ignored the possibility and even ridiculed Noah—all the way up until the very day when it began to rain.

It didn’t seem right that God would lead the Israelites out of Egypt to a place that would close them in before the Red Sea, with mountainous regions on each side. It did not seem the right “way” to be lead out of Egypt. Even Pharaoh and his army believed that the Israelites had entangled and trapped themselves there. Not even Moses could imagine how God would deliver them out of such a predicament. But at the last moment, as Pharaoh and his army approached, God opened a “way” through the Red Sea.

There are many examples of events in the lives of God’s people that did not seem reasonable to them and to those around them. Yet, God has always fulfilled His word and He brings to pass exactly what He reveals through His prophets. Most often He does so in a manner that cannot be readily seen or understood.

Those in the world and in the Church that was scattered who hear (or read) what I have said about the timing of Christ’s return and all the horrific end-time events that will precede it respond in similar manner—with utter disbelief. Oftentimes, the response is also mixed with ridicule, slander, anger, mockery, chiding, correction and a seemingly endless barrage of other negative human emotions regarding the “message.” God actually addresses this exact kind of response, for this exact moment in time, by a prophecy given through Ezekiel (Ez. 12).

Summarizing what God said, He begins by declaring that there are those who have had the ability to hear, but would not, and had eyes to see, but would not. He refers to these people as a rebellious people. The only ones who fit such a description are those who have been part of God’s own Church, those who have rebelled against Him and will not listen to Him as He speaks through His prophet.

God says He will scatter such people and they will be taken into captivity. This next part will make many mad and upset with me, but this is from God and not from me. This is speaking of the vast majority of the Church that was scattered after the apostasy. They have become so spiritually sluggish that they cannot and will not accept truth that God has given since the apostasy—truth that He has given to His end-time prophet.

The Church that was scattered will not accept the truth that there was an apostasy in God’s Church (2 Thes. 2), yet their very state of being scattered, and in much smaller numbers, testifies to this truth. They will not accept that after Mr. Armstrong’s death, the Church was thrust into the last era of Laodicea, and that at the time of the apostasy, the Church was spewed out of God’s mouth. They will not acknowledge the truth God spoke concerning each and every person in the Church at the time of the apostasy—that they had become lukewarm. Refusal to repent of not believing these basic truths led to even greater rebellion against God—with greater condemnation than being lukewarm and spiritually sluggish. Then the Church became filled with stubborn pride and would not accept the ones sent to it, with God’s very own message to deliver to it.

There is much more to this story that is now being covered in a new sermon series entitled, “God’s Witnesses.” This sermon also explains that God’s two end-time witnesses do not physically die before Christ’s return, but live up to the very day they are changed from mortal to immortal. This sermon is about God’s Church that became scattered. It is the last great message that God is giving about His Church and the two witnesses He sent to it.

As Ezekiel continues to describe God’s message to His scattered people and their response to what He has told them, God declares that there is an attitude of condemnation and disbelief that His scattered people are casting upon His message to them. God says this attitude is summed up in a saying or proverb that describes their aspersions. In one way or another, they critically convey this response to God: “These days (for Christ’s return) are not upon us, but are much farther away, for all that you have told us (prophecies) has failed (has not come to pass).” [Most translations from Hebrew are awkward, but this is the thrust of what God is addressing in Ez. 12:22-23.]

This perfectly describes how such people have responded to end-time events described in the book, 2008 – God’s Final Witness. Because great physical tribulation has not yet come upon the world, and the last six Trumpets have not yet sounded, such people have fully dismissed the message God has sent to them. These things are “still” going to happen, but because of God’s great mercy, mankind has not had to suffer throughout the past three and one-half years!

So God goes on to give His answer to their rebellion: “For I am the Eternal and now I will speak [with action], and the word that I shall speak shall [now] come to pass. Now those days will come upon you. Rebellious house, these words that I have spoken, I will now perform them, says the Lord Eternal” (Ez. 12:25). These words are for this exact moment in time. May 27th is fast approaching and God will perform what He has spoken through His prophets.

WWIII Closing In
The previous posting was entitled, “WWIII: The Stage Is Being Set.” This too seems fully unreasonable to the vast majority of mankind. To most, it is unthinkable that the world might soon be thrust into such a time when nuclear bombs will suddenly destroy over one-third of all the earth. Refusal to think that this is a reasonable scenario does not prevent it from becoming a reality.

There have been long periods of war and short periods of war everywhere on this earth, but there has never been as short a period of war with such great destruction as is almost upon us. The world has not witnessed a nuclear war. Mankind has only a very limited experience with using nuclear weapons, and that was during WWII. The two cities in Japan where these atomic weapons exploded caused horrific destruction.

The examples of Nagasaki and Hiroshima have nearly been erased from the mind of mankind. But these need to be remembered. Understanding what happened then can help you have a small glimpse into what is coming. The two weapons used on these cities were small compared to the weapons of today. Over 200,000 people died as a result of those two explosions back in 1945. So let’s consider what happened then and make a few comparisons to today’s nuclear arsenal.

The atomic bomb used on Hiroshima was equivalent to 15,000 tons of TNT (15 kilotons) and that used on Nagasaki was equivalent to 21,000 tons of TNT (21 kilotons). Grasping the magnitude and destructive power of such weapons is not easy. Yet the only real means to do so is through this limited experience that mankind has had with those two bombs. It is indeed unthinkable and unimaginable to consider the affects of the fiery inferno that a modern-day war can produce, yet it is wise if you stop to consider what is about to transpire in exactly such an event.

There are facts that need to be considered about modern-day nuclear weapons. The largest nuclear weapon tested by the United States was a 15 megaton bomb, and the largest tested by Russia was a 50 megaton bomb. The 15 megaton bomb tested by the U.S. was 1,000 times larger than the 15 kiloton bomb dropped on Hiroshima. Our ability to understand such a powerfully destructive device is nearly impossible.

Today, there is an estimated arsenal of 23,000 nuclear weapons in the world, which is enough to destroy the earth and every living thing on it many times over. That is the kind of world we live in today! Of these weapons, over 10 percent are on “High Alert,” meaning they are ready to be launched on a moments notice.

WWII lasted nearly six years with a death toll that is estimated to have reached 60,000,000 people. It is a horrifying truth that a 5 megaton weapon contains more explosive power than all the explosives used during WWII. What massive death could follow such an explosion in any large city of the world from simply one such nuclear device? The truth is, in one day humanity can erase itself from the earth. It is prophesied that when China and Russia enter WWIII that they themselves will destroy a third of the earth’s population. It doesn’t take a lot of time to fulfill end-time prophecy concerning world war.

Consider the destructive power carried by a single Trident Submarine. The U.S. currently has 14 such ballistic-missile submarines. Each submarine can carry 24 ballistic missiles. A single missile can carry eight 100 kiloton nuclear warheads. There are multiples of a 100 kiloton nuclear warhead and a 455 kiloton nuclear warhead that can be used on these ballistic missiles. It is reported that the number of kilotons deployed by the Trident fleet is 345,000 or 345 megatons of destructive power.

The small arsenal of this Trident fleet alone carries nearly 70 times the total explosive power used in all of WWII. People simply cannot imagine such power that can be unleashed on the world in less than an hour of time. What kind of death toll would follow if only the number of weapons equivalent to this fleets’ power were unleashed on the earth? It could easily erase over half of all life from the earth. We have only considered a very small percentage of all the nuclear weapons in the hands of mankind. All this should help give a clearer perspective of the times in which we live and the real potential for the literal annihilation of all life from the earth in less than an hour.

The world could not endure a nuclear war that would last for 3 ½ years. Long before such a period of time would elapse, mankind would not exist on earth. A nuclear war cannot last for three months, nor for three weeks. God, in all His mercy, is controlling the final time before He will allow mankind to begin such a war—a war of man’s own doing.

God’s timing is based on the day He has set for the return of His Son as world ruler. God will allow mankind to begin his final war, but He will also quickly stop it. The reason should be obvious! “Why” massive destruction from end-time events has not yet begun is due to the reality of how massive such a war will become as soon as it starts. Once a single nuclear device is detonated, and it will happen very soon now, who will refrain themselves from retaliating? Who will be the first to limit the response of their attack once the cycle begins?

It is because of such destructive power in the hands of mankind that God has shown that if He did not intervene quickly, once such a conflagration begins, mankind would destroy itself. That is exactly what God is going to do. He will cut short the war that man begins, and He will do so on May 27th, which is also the day Jesus Christ returns.

But just as mankind has responded to God’s warnings for the past 6,000 years, this final age of man’s self-rule has proven to be the same. God has been ignored, and mankind has once again gone about seeking to remedy his own problems his own ways, but this time is man’s last time to respond to God in arrogance and pride. In this final time, God is allowing mankind to temporarily experience a false sense of hope and belief that he can solve his own problems and that life will once again “get back on track.” Not so this time!

The hype in the stock market and false confidence in the power of the U.S. dollar is the epitome of man’s pride. This period of pride is marked by a willing blindness of the truth. The signs of what is coming are being ignored. It is as Jesus Christ said at his first coming:

The Pharisees along with the Sadducees came seeking proof and asked of him [seeking proof that he was whom it was being claimed] that he would show them a sign from heaven. He answered and said to them, “When it is evening and the sky is red, you say that it will be fair weather. And in the morning it will be foul weather today when the sky is red and gloomy. Oh hypocrites, for you can discern the face of the sky, but you will not discern [refuse to discern or judge] the signs of the times” (Matthew 16:1-3).

Willing Ignorance and a Blind Eye:
Although we (Church of God – PKG) hold fast to the conviction that Jesus Christ is returning as King of kings on May 27th of this year, it is understood that others fully disbelieve that such is possible in only a short time. Even if we were wrong, the “signs” are all around that this world is changing rapidly for the worse, shifting quickly before our very eyes, and that very troublous times are right in front of us. Ignoring the “signs” will not make such trouble go away. The false euphoria of choosing to believe that life is improving will only be a temporary experience and will only produce a far greater traumatic crash at the end.

Such exaggerated wishful thinking will only lead to a more painful reality once a complete global implosion strikes. The United States has already gone the way of Great Britain after WWII, but it will not address such a truth. Yes, the final prophesied collapse is at the door. At one time it was years away, then months, and now only weeks away.

Great effort is being exerted to ignore reality and to instead trust in a false belief about the true economic condition of the United States. Such false hope is about to be dashed to pieces. The truth is so plain, but willing blindness and pride is so great that simplicity cannot be heard. The dollar is rapidly going the way of ancient Rome, yet the denarius and aurous were at least made of silver and gold. The world reserve currency is shifting rapidly. China and Russia have begun to drop the dollar in bilateral trade. Even China (world’s second largest economy) and Japan (world’s third largest economy) have entered into agreements to bypass the dollar and engage in direct currency trade. China and Iran have now agreed to bypass the dollar and barter in oil. India and Japan have agreed to begin swapping in their own currencies. It is reported that Iran and Russia are replacing the dollar with the rial and ruble in trade.  Then last week, it was reported that Iran and India have agreed to settle their annual oil trade in rupees.

It was stated rather poignantly by one American financial reporting agency about these trends: “But yes… the dollar still is the reserve currency… if only in which to make calculations of how many imaginary money one pays in exchange for imaginary ‘developed world’ collateral.”

The petrodollar bears its name for great reason and today its continued power and existence is being threatened on the world scene. Is it possibly true that some would like to see an escalation in tension with Iran that would actually trigger a war? It is this region of the world that prophecies concerning the king of the south and the king of the north become instrumental in bringing the world together in a third world war. That war is now very near! And who are the great players on the board that bring this to a final conflict? Who should you be watching? As she sleeps, the U.S. is about to lose its place as a major player, and Europe, Iran, China, Russia, and Israel will step in as the major players.

Europe Is Rising:
The European Union is being pushed to the edge, and as a result, it is about to make a great shift in its direction and emerge in a new form. The 7th revival of the Holy Roman Empire is about to come on the world scene. After it has come together for a time, it will not be long before the Fifth Trumpet of Revelation sounds and great devastation follows.

For over sixty years, God’s Church has been warning the world about this final power that will come upon the world in the form of ten unified nations in Europe. The stage is being set and it is getting close to the time for the curtain to be raised. Just today, a headline from the EU Observer (EUobserver.com) reads: “Nine EU countries form splinter group on financial tax.” It states, “A group of nine euro-countries led by France and Germany on Tuesday asked the Danish EU presidency to fast-track plans for a financial transactions tax – a move indicating they will forge ahead on their own in the absence of an EU-wide consensus.”

The final ten that emerge may be somewhat different and include other countries, or it may include these same nine countries. If it is these nine, there will already be ten, as the Vatican is considered a country, and it is most definitely part of this final resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire. How close do you think it might be? How quickly can it come on the world scene? This may be it!

Some Europeans and especially Germans do not respond well when pushed to the brink. Those who have the greatest stake in the euro are rapidly pushing for big change in order to survive. Their troubles are spiraling out of control as reports continue to flood in concerning the dire conditions that only mount with intensity.

Spain’s finance minister admitted last week that their unemployment rate has now jumped to 24 percent. Another report today states that the German debt-collecting group, Creditreform, has noted that 175,000 businesses went bust in western Europe last year, threatening 1.5 million jobs. The number is up 7% on 2010, but individual countries, such as Greece (27%), Spain (19%), Italy (17%) and Portugal (17%), saw a steeper increase due to the crisis.

Blatant Stupidity to Dismiss Islamic Beliefs:
There is no other word to better describe the West’s attitude toward Iran than that of “stupidity.” To ignore or minimize the determination, belief, and capability of Iranian leaders, both governmental and religious, is one of the greatest acts of foolishness that any world leader can make. The motivation of Iranian leaders is far different from most who have ruled throughout the Islamic countries of the Middle East. Leaders like Hosni Mubarak or current military leaders of Egypt, Saddam Hussein or Nuri al-Maliki of Iraq, Bashar al-Assad of Syria, King Abdullah II of Jordan, the former Muammar Gaddafi of Libya, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, Recep Erdogan of Turkey, and the many others that we could name, all have or have had vastly different motivations in leadership from that of Iran’s.

The primary motivation and zealous focus of Iranian leaders is squarely based upon their fervent Islamic Shiite belief in the coming of the prophesied 12th Imam Mahdi who will usher in Armageddon. Their belief is that the destruction of Israel will trigger “the coming” of the last Islamic Messiah. They believe that they are the ones who will fulfill Allah’s will to aid and help in the fulfillment of these end-time events.

Rather than explaining about continuing escalation of tensions in this region and the depth of their religious convictions that fuel these tensions, I am going to recommend another video that helps to explain their beliefs from their own perspective. This will help readers to better grasp the true seriousness behind the rhetoric of these leaders and why such rhetoric should not be dismissed so flippantly as so many are doing.

The signs are everywhere, but few are willing to discern them.

At the end of last year, we ran an advertisement about the book, 2008 – God’s Final Witness, and myself, as the author, being available for interviews if any in such media markets were interested in the subject matter. What has transpired is very reflective of the time we are currently experiencing. To me, this is so very reminiscent of what the Church experienced at the time of the apostasy in 1994. The Church had grown complacent and lethargic concerning the many warnings of what was looming.

Today, the United States has drifted into that same complacent and lethargic spirit concerning the warnings that are so resounding about a coming global economic collapse, as well as willingly dismissing and minimizing many other global forebodings. People seldom hear the truth that is being reported in the news in other parts of the world, as the media itself is fast asleep.

So who cares that a billionaire investor, George Soros, stated today that “the crisis in Europe is more serious than the crash of 2008.” The attitude upon hearing such a thing is: “That doesn’t affect me.” But it is going to affect everyone very soon.

Who understands or cares about another article today? It states: “Europe Banks Hoarding Cash.” It is dire, but very few care or even know the ramifications of those banks sitting on money that they would rather have the European Central Bank hold for them.

And who is really worrying about Iran? What does it matter that another article today states that Iranian interest rates have risen to 20% in order to fight hyperinflation or that another Iranian nuclear scientist was targeted and killed today in a street bomb explosion. Again, the attitude is one of this being so far away that is doesn’t have an effect on one’s personal life. But in a very short time, it will! What will Iran do as sanctions continue to be tightened around her and sabre-rattling becomes louder? Desperate people will do desperate things to stay in power, especially when so many nations related to them are being overthrown or nearly to that point.

Several news articles in other parts of the world today are focusing on U.S. troops being deployed to Israel, but little to nothing of this is known within the U.S. news media. In an article from Stars and Stripes today is this report: “HEIDELBERG, Germany — What’s being billed as the biggest and most significant military exercise ever conducted by the U.S. and Israel will include missile defense drills, according to the U.S. European Command.”

“EUCOM officials declined to say when the Austere Challenge 12 exercise would begin, but the timing of the announcement of the exercise in the Israeli press, which cited unnamed Israeli Defense Forces officials, has led to speculation that it is linked to renewed tensions with Iran over its nuclear ambitions and its recent threats to close the Strait of Hormuz, through which almost 20 percent of the world’s oil is transported.”

“But there is no direct connection, according to the U.S. European Command.”

Who is kidding whom?

Most certainly, no one cares what the Russian media has to say. One report that was just published in Pravda.ru is under a headline that reads: “Iran to Kick Off World War Three.” The Russians have been vocalizing, along with the Chinese, that which the West would consider as rhetoric concerning a soon coming World War III. The attitude from the West concerning such sources is that we can’t really take them seriously. Too bad! We should! According to prophecy concerning the Sixth Trumpet, they have already been planning for this war for some time now, and will engage in it a very short time before Christ returns on May 27, 2012.

Literally, overnight this world can change drastically. That time is closing in fast. But this nation is fast asleep. In 2008, people were shaken by the huge economic collapse that occurred at that time. They feared what was happening to their investments, retirement programs, and overall state of the economy. Jobs were being lost on a massive scale, far greater than what has actually been acknowledged by the government. By simply printing more money through a deceptive scheme masqueraded as a legitimate government response that was labeled “quantitative easing,” people have complacently accepted the consequences without real understanding. This has been done because it is easier for human nature to respond selfishly, and therefore, ignore reality and the tough decisions and choices associated with it (especially in leadership).

All these things are mentioned because in 2008, as a result of people being shaken and awakened to our true economic condition, people were more eager to discuss the possibilities of the book, 2008 – God’s Final Witness. In lesser advertising used at that time, we had a lot of interviews and several others that were actually turned down. But with our recent advertising, as of today, I have only had a request for three interviews, one of which I turned down because of the attitude of the producer and host at WGN in Chicago (assuredly, one of the first in the Church that was scattered to ever turn down WGN).

The advertising for this round of interviews was actually done in a far better manner than the advertising done in the past. If we had used the same type of advertising back in 2008 as we did this time the response would have been far stronger. But all this is indicative of the true spirit of this nation today. It is fast asleep, just as the Church was back in 1994 when the apostasy occurred.

The interview today by the host, Cleveland Rollins, was very well done on his part, ranking among the most professional of all the interviews I’ve given. It was refreshing to have someone conduct an interview with the kind of focus and informed manner in which he approached this, which in large part was due to the professional manner our advertiser incorporated in their presentation.

It was also interesting to note that in the beginning of the interview, there was direct acknowledgment of the horrible economic conditions, natural disasters, and escalation of tension between nations that has grown over the past few years. Seventy Weeks Prophecy:
As a result of the sermon this past Sabbath, in which it was revealed that there is a duality contained in the Seventy Weeks Prophecy of the Book of Daniel, this subject needs to be addressed more fully. Since there is a lot of misunderstanding and lack of continued growth in the Church that was scattered, even the matter of the prophecy regarding Christ’s first coming needs to be covered in another sermon.

As was mentioned in the sermon last week, the duality of the Seventy Weeks Prophecy concerns not only Christ’s first coming, but his second. There are so many dates that numerically agree with end-time events that have been stated in 2008 – God’s Final Witness and in sermons since this final end-time began on Trumpets of 2008 that the mathematical statistics and probability of such a thing exponentially defies mere “chance.” Although such a thing will mean little to so many who were scattered, it is awesomely inspiring to those who will hear.

There are many dates that go far beyond mere chance, but when all are considered together they become phenomenal in scope. Nearly everyone in the Church that was scattered refuse to acknowledge the most central of all prophetic dates in this end-time. It is the date of the “great falling away” or “apostasy” that is recorded in 2 Thessalonians 2. That prophetic chapter is focal to understanding the final end-time, as the subject matter is the timing of the return of Jesus Christ, which is made abundantly clear in the first several verses, since that subject matter is repeated several times.

The truth is that this apostasy occurred on December 17, 1994, when Joseph Tkach, Sr. gave his defiant sermon against the truths of God and the Church became scattered as a result of that rebellion. It was from this time that God began to reveal dates and the importance in their timing. It is astounding how anyone who was scattered can deny the importance of the timing of Joseph Tkach’s death and God’s hand in its revelation.

Joseph Tkach, Sr. rebelled against God when he declared that the Sabbaths of God were no longer binding on God’s people. It was exactly 40 Sabbaths later, to the hour, that Joseph Tkach, Sr. died. Such timing should thunder loudly to God’s people, but it hasn’t. People seem willingly ignorant of the importance of God’s judgment that involves the number 40 in scripture. It is at this time that God began to reveal the importance of His judgment that was to run throughout this end-time (7 days x 40 = 280 days).

Although more dates will be mentioned in this posting, it is now needful to mention the numbers that are important concerning the fulfillment of Christ’s second coming, as the timing begins on the same day the apostasy began. As was pointed out last Sabbath, the sequence of numbers in the Seventy Weeks Prophecy is a simple matter of math with 70 weeks being 70 x 7 days, which equals 490 days.

As a matter of other dates that God revealed to me, through Jesus Christ, it was given earlier that Trumpets of 2008 was the beginning of the 1335 day count in the Book of Daniel that leads up to the return of Jesus Christ on May 27, 2012. The day of Christ’s return is on Pentecost which pictures the 144,000 who will return with him to reign on earth, and the beginning of this announcement to the Church was on Trumpets (2008) which announces the coming of the Messiah as King of kings. How awesome is that to understand?

So we came to understand the very date of Christ’s return when it was God’s time to reveal it, as God promised He would do nothing before He first sent His prophets to announce it. The fact that I would make such an assertion makes the world of traditional Christianity furious and they misuse a scripture, pertinent to Christ’s time (in a literal sense), when it was stated: “No man knows the day or the hour.” But in their defiance they refuse to acknowledge that in time—in God’s time—He would reveal the date to the world (to those who would have ears to hear).

Even the Church that was scattered becomes indignant that I would declare such a date. They read this as being a matter of pride and haughtiness on my part, yet it is what God has commanded me to give and I rejoice in it.

Closely tied to all these dates is the revelation that Satan’s rule is coming to an end as soon as Jesus Christ returns. Christ is coming to take the reigns of ruler-ship away from Satan. Rather than going through all the dates and periods of timing that God has given to His Church to understand, I will simply refer people to an area of timeline information that is posted on the Church website in the “FAQ” under the “Topics” section in the topic entitled, “Timeline Questions Answered.”

Suffice it to say, all this precise timing has been magnified in the Seventy Weeks Prophecy that God has just revealed concerning Christ’s second coming. As Jesus Christ is coming to remove Satan from power, Satan is an important part of fulfilling and finishing end-time events. God reveals His truth to the Church and some of that truth is enhanced and magnified by His timing of events or importance of numbers, which He reveals in those events.

All who have the simple beginning of understanding of God’s plan know the importance of the seven-day week and the 7,000 year plan of God. Seven has always been understood as a number God uses for that which is “complete” in His purpose. The number 12 is used in God’s planning as a number for perfection, as in the structure of His temple that is discussed at the end of Revelation. The number 12 becomes important in the perfection of the first-fruits who return with Christ at his coming (12 x 12,000 = 144,000).

In the Seventy Weeks Prophecy it is easy to understand the importance of seven and then the seventy concerning prophecy of the Messiah, as this is about his coming. But there is another being involved in these end-time events. He has a number associated with him that has long been a number associated with fear and mysticism. It is a number used in some mystic societies and their practices, as with the Masons. Many associate the number with being unlucky or with tragedy, as with Friday the 13th. Some architects or builders will not allow for a 13th floor of a building, etc. Yes, this is a number that is associated with Satan, and it is even understood somewhat by those who have studied numbers (although they become entangled and ensnared in such studies that go far off base). It is commonly understood that the number 13 is associated with two main subjects. It is that of “rebellion” and “apostasy.” What number better identifies what Satan has done from the beginning and that is now soon to end? What is better associated with the description of what happened in God’s Church of December 17, 1994, than that of rebellion and apostasy?

Yes, beginning with that day to the day Jesus Christ returns is a fulfillment of the Seventy Weeks Prophecy. It is 70 x 7days x 13, which gives 6,370 days. Yes, it is exactly 6,370 days from the very hour that the rebellious sermon that caused the apostasy was given, to the very hour (Jerusalem time) that Jesus Christ returns. Now what are the odds of such timing being so exact and agreeing with all the other events and timing that God has given His Church? It is astronomical indeed!

January 7, 2012, is another important occurrence for the timing of God’s work and end-time events. This date is an important crossroad in time as it ends a prophetically historic portion of time in Daniel that consists of a prophetic measure of “time” and “times” that began after Trumpets of 2009.

January 8 of this year begins the final “half-a-time” of this full prophetic period known as “time, times, and half-a-time.” That day is the start of the final period of 140 days (half-a-time) that leads up to the very coming of the Messiah spoken of in those same prophecies of Daniel. This post will also address a newly revealed final fulfillment of the 70 weeks prophecy that has a dual fulfillment of both Christ’s first coming and his second coming.

The final “half-a-time” that begins January 8 will be the prophetic period when the Trumpets of Revelation will finally be heard (witnessed and seen) throughout this world, along with the Thunders of Revelation that will progressively escalate in a dramatic manner. The period of “time, times, and half-a-time” consists of seven segments of time (seven half-times). It can be likened to God’s plan covered in the weekly cycle of seven days and the 7,000 year plan where the last 1,000 years is when God takes control and gives mankind the ability to know His ways.

An End to 6,000 Years of Man’s Ways:
The period of a “time” and “times” described by Daniel is a final witness God is giving of mankind’s true response to Him throughout the past 6,000 years. This final “half-a-time” is the transition between the past 6,000 years and the final 1,000 years of God’s rule on earth. It is during this time of transition that people will begin to “see” the power of God revealed through physical events that destroy the system God calls Babylon (a system of confusion). Indeed, Babylon describes every way mankind has chosen, while fully rejecting God’s true ways.

God separated a segment of “time” that reflects the work of the Messiah over the past 2,000 years. Before Christ came to fulfill the role of our Passover, 4,000 years had passed. In reality, mankind has lived through a period of “time” and “times” (2,000 and 4,000 years) in God’s complete plan for 7,000 years. It is during the final “half-a-time” (1,000 years) that God will fully reveal His ways, truth, and power to all who will receive it. Through Christ (the Messiah), God will govern this world. We are entering the final transition from mankind’s self-rule to that of God’s rule.

The ways of mankind have been consistent for 6,000 years. Throughout this period, God’s ways have continually been resisted, misrepresented, mocked, slandered, and disobeyed. Mankind is filled with pride and finds it easy to either slant and twist God’s truth to fit his own ways (as in Judaism, Islam, and traditional Christianity) or to create his own religion (or none at all) that fully rejects any connection to the God of Abraham.

Except for the few through time whom God has chosen to work with and reveal Himself, the rest of mankind has fully rejected God. They will not listen and take seriously what God says. God has repeatedly declared how He has sent His prophets and servants into the world, but that none will listen.

The period of a “time” and “times” (ending on January 7th) that God set aside as a final witness of mankind has repeated the history of the first 6,000 years. During this time the hatred of people toward God’s servants and His Church has only magnified, and paralleling this has been a progressive increase in lethargy and complacency toward warnings that God has been giving. The world, and even the Church that was scattered after the apostasy, is more determined than ever to preserve its own way. The warnings of God that we are closing in on the final stages of the end-time are ignored, ridiculed, and treated with disdain.

Yes, God’s witness is so true and thankfully it is finally time to usher in the return of Jesus Christ to take control of the world and the Church that was scattered as King of kings and Lord of lords. It is time for Babylon to begin to crumble until it has been fully destroyed. In addition, the king of Babylon is coming to his end as his kingdom begins to crumble beneath him.

There is no more time for warnings, but for that which has already been written. There is no more time for mercy to be extended, as time has run out.

Seventy Weeks Prophecy:
The sermon given to God’s Church on January 7, 2012, that is entitled, “The Final Time,” reveals how God is precise in His timing for fulfilling prophetic events. The Almighty God who set the universe in motion with such precision and skillful work long ago spoke of this time now: “For I am the Eternal who speaks and the words that I speak shall come to pass. It will be no more prolonged, for in your days, Oh rebellious house, I will say the word and will perform it” (Ez. 12:25). God has spoken and now is the time that He will perform what He has said.

The seventy weeks prophecy about the Messiah (in the Book of Daniel) has been correctly understood by some as being very specific timing about the first coming of Christ. But what none have known is that this prophecy is also dual. It is about an exact number of days that will be fulfilled from the moment that the First Seal of Revelation was opened until the day that Jesus Christ returns (fully explained in the January 7 sermon). After 6,000 years of prideful human suffering, thank God that we are rapidly nearing that second coming!

I’ve rewritten this posting several times, as this entire matter has been rather difficult for me to digest. I have been waiting to find out the full details of the indictment and it has been somewhat unsettling as it simply takes time to receive all the information that it is based upon. Although we have known that an investigation has been ongoing since mid 2008, it has all been rather difficult to understand why.

There really is no basis for this. This investigation that covers several years has been difficult to understand, especially in the light of the fact that we have never at any time received any civil notice from the IRS. There has never been a request for an audit of which we would have fully cooperated, as our desire has always been to do things correctly in filing our taxes. The Church has a great team of lawyers and an investigator who are vigorously working to defend the Church and myself.

As people tend to believe what they will, I’ve decided that a posting is not the forum to address the issues at hand, but to fully use our legal system and the courts to do so.

Laura and I understand that this is part of what we must face as part of the work we believe God has given us to do in this end-time. We will continue to do as we have ever since we became part of the ministry of God’s Church back in 1981. That makes over 30 years of serving in the ministry. Indeed, we have always sought to faithfully and zealously serve God and His Church. Our plans have not changed and we will continue as we do now by visiting the many congregations of the Church which are scattered throughout the U.S. and other countries.

It is true that the Church maintained funds in Switzerland for several years, yet it is also true that this was fully disclosed to the Church before that account was ever opened (www.cog-pkg.org, Audio section of Dec. 28, 2002, entitled “Planning Ahead”). As it was stated in that sermon, those funds were placed in my name, yet there was also another name on the account, as an additional representative (an evangelist) of the Church, who had full access and legal right to those Church funds at any time.

Consequently, because of our belief that 2008 was the beginning of trouble for this world and what would eventually lead to a complete global economic collapse, we began investing several hundred thousand dollars in advertising in order to warn people of what was coming and what was happening even then. Those Church funds were all brought back to the United States and all used in that advertising.

This posting also provides me with the opportunity to remind our readers of two important doctrines of the Church. One concerns tithing and government taxation, and the second concerns our teaching of what it means to be a “good citizen” in the country where one lives.

Concerning the first of those two doctrines I have referred, we adhere to a strong belief in tithing and giving of offerings as many other Christian churches and those in Judaism also believe. We deeply believe the instruction of Jesus Christ who said that we should pay to Caesar what is Caesar’s (taxation to be paid to government agencies) and to God what is God’s (tithes and offerings). Members are to be as zealous in being faithful to God in tithing as they are faithful to God in paying their taxes to whatever government is over them.

Concerning the second doctrine to which I have referred, you can read on the Church website what the Church teaches about being a “good citizen” in a country, especially as we draw nearer to the end of the final three and one-half years of this end-time. This is stated in the FAQ section under the “Topics” and is entitled, “Citizenship in a nation.”

As the Church continues to remain faithful to God, God is faithful to lead us and fight our battles for us. Indeed, we look to God and His Son Jesus Christ to guide our way and always deliver us.

At the end of 1994, God’s Church was given the opportunity to be awakened and to face the truth of “why” the Church was literally and spiritually collapsing. Only by facing the truth could individuals change (repent), become spiritually alert, and once again take charge of their future.

At the end of 2008, the United States was given the opportunity to be awakened and to face the truth of “why” the economy was collapsing. The truth has not been addressed because people are deeply entrenched in pride, selfishness, arrogance and lust. Thus the actual condition of the nations has become much worse in every way. Rather than repenting of the conditions that led to the initial collapsing of the economy, people have chosen the way of greed, politics (the “way” of lying, compromise, secret deals, and the struggle for power), and the preservation of “that way” over genuine change.

The spirit begotten Church that was scattered will not listen to God, so why would a physical, carnal nation listen to God? Both are in deep sleep due to their own choices of the manner in which they are responding to the conditions engulfing them. The resistance to hearing God’s true warnings is so great that only a small percentage can be awakened, but even then it is only after they receive a traumatic shaking.

Yes, the year 2008 (especially the final month) will prove to be both the end and the beginning of “God’s final witness” to mankind. God inspired that very title of a book to reflect His timing for ending the age of man’s self-rule on earth and giving witness of “why” His merciful judgment is so righteously justified for this final time. That book is 2008 – God’s Final Witness.

By the end of 2008, God ended all His warnings to mankind. The history of 6,000 years of testimony—of God’s true word—of His true witness to mankind, about mankind, had been fully established. And since the end of 2008, “God’s final witness” of that 6,000-year record is being fully established—fully recorded for all time through unfolding events that culminate on May 27, 2012. This final witness is that man is still the same. He continues to refuse to listen to God’s prophets, refuses to repent, and actually mocks, ridicules, slanders, and hates God’s truth and His servants.

God’s Great Mercy
Mankind, including the Church that was scattered, will not at this time acknowledge the great mercy of God in these end-times. It is because they do not believe God. They do not believe we are in the end-time. Yet, God’s very mercy toward mankind will prove to be the greatest witness, above all testimony, of God’s true relationship toward His creation.

It has not yet entered into the hearts of mankind, not even in the Church that was scattered, the level or kind of love that God has for His creation. God has chosen to give His greatest testimony (witness) at this end-time of the “truth” of His mercy over the past 6,000 years. As a result, He has been withholding the timing of man’s final suffering of great tribulation in this final period. God has intervened to prevent and hold back great suffering through the major portion of this final three and one-half years of His final witness on earth. If He had not done so, the world would have suffered incredible great loss (especially in sickness, destruction, and death) to this point in time. If God had not intervened by granting great mercy upon this world, we would already be in WWIII, the United States would have already ceased to exist as a self-governing nation, and the current president would have never entered office.

That great tribulation and suffering is still coming and so very soon now, but in God’s mercy, as with His mercy for the past 6,000 years, He has prevented from happening what mankind rightly deserves in judgment. So rather than experiencing horrendous suffering for the past three years, that period for suffering has been reduced to only a few months—and all because of God’s great mercy.

Nearly three years have passed and now the world is about to enter the time of final suffering that man’s own ways have brought upon himself. God has shortened the time for actual suffering in great tribulation, yet the final tribulation will still occur to the same magnitude as God has prophesied through time. Dramatically shortening the duration of suffering reveals the magnitude of God’s mercy on a disbelieving and disobedient world, just as it always has been. This is God’s true witness and final testimony to man!

In Deep Sleep
The world cannot yet “see” God’s great mercy, and before it can see it, it will experience great tribulation before God sends His Son back to this earth as its Messiah. Right now, the world remains asleep.

Prophecy that God has given over the ages is now crying out as the final stages for tribulation are being fully set in place as God comes to the moment He will no longer hold back the final sounding of the Trumpets of Revelation. Over the last two months, world news, though sometimes difficult to find, is headlining the formation of prophetic events that provide a front row seat to the final emergence of ten nations in Europe who will lead the world into a final war. Led by the United States, the collapsing world economy that began in 2008 is now accelerating and forcing future events into position, just as God warned they would.

At a time when technology was beginning to change the world in major ways, the world began entering a troubled period revealed by God as a prophesied sixth revival of the old Holy Roman Empire. WWII came upon a sleeping world. The world sought to ignore, minimize events, and placate governments in an effort to somehow make the inevitable just go away. Denial and self imposed sleep concerning the truth—the reality—of escalating world conditions did not make the problems go away.

Germany’s invasion of Poland on September 1, 1939, forced Europe to begin awakening to the true conditions at hand, but it took an invasion to start that process of being shaken out of sleep. Britain and France responded by declaring war on Germany on the 3rd of September, but the rest of Europe still chose to sleep as though it still might all just go away.

After the fall of Poland, there was a relative lull in fighting. This finally ended when Germany invaded Norway and Denmark on April 9, 1940. Even through this passage of time, several countries (the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg) had chosen neutral positions in the war, yet themselves were invaded on May 10, 1940, as well as France.

After securing the Balkan region by invading Yugoslavia and Greece on April 6, 1941, the Germans and their allies invaded the Soviet Union on June 22, 1941. Even after two full years had passed since the war began, where was the United States?

It was because of Japan’s plans for expansion in the Far East and their attack on Pearl Harbor in December 1941 that the United States was finally brought into the war. Admiral Yamamoto was ordered to attack the U.S. and is said to have made the statement, “We have awakened a sleeping giant.” It took that event to finally awaken a nation out of a self-imposed deep sleep.

History is repeating itself, however this time, before WWIII comes on the world scene, God has declared that the United States will collapse before she can be awakened! Yes, the United States is prophesied to collapse as a nation before she can be awakened and before WWIII strikes the earth. That collapse is now at the doorstep. Except for a very few whom God has chosen to call into His Church, no one wants to listen to such pronouncements. No one believes them. Instead, the truth is ridiculed, ignored, slandered, and even mocked. That does not change what is fast approaching and what “will” happen!

This time, as it has been stated, God is not going to allow the United States to be awakened as a nation. Only individuals can be awakened as they come to repentance for disobeying God. Remaining asleep is the result of the inability, or perhaps better said, the lack of will in leadership in government, business and religion. Therefore, a meaningful change in the course of direction is not going to be made. The truth is, that due to selfish desire to retain power and hold to the ways of greed, change will not be made.

God’s Final Witness
In two short months, the world will be thrust into the seventh and final phase of this end-time. This period will be marked by well over fifty percent of all Bible prophecy being fulfilled.

This posting cannot cover all the news that is flooding upon the world scene that screams out at a world that is largely asleep. Catastrophic events are about to be unleashed and very, very few hear the warning cries.

God first revealed to His two end-time witnesses, His final two prophets that His Son would return to this earth in a second-coming as King of kings on May 27, 2012. That revelation gave way to numerous other revelations concerning end-time prophetic events. But anyone who hears of this, in the world or in the Church that was scattered, considers this to be absurd, presumptuous, arrogant, and filled with self- aggrandizement. Such was also true concerning the world’s behavior toward Jesus Christ at his first coming.

It matters little that people will not believe God at this time, as disbelief does not prevent God from doing as He will. All that is stated here is true and will come to pass! There is prophecy in the book of Amos that is directly related to what has been written in this posting:

“The Lord Eternal will do nothing except He first reveal it unto His servants the prophets. The lion has roared and who will not fear? The Lord Eternal has spoken and who can help but prophesy?” (Amos 3:7-8)

Yes, God reveals to His prophets in advance what He is bringing to pass. Although many in the world and those of the Church that was scattered do not like that a date has been set for the return of Jesus Christ as the Messiah, God has fulfilled His promise to reveal what He does in advance. He has revealed that His Son is to come as the prophesied Messiah on May 27, 2012. I have not given this, but God has given this!

Jesus Christ was sentenced to death because he said he was born to be King and that he was the Son of God. It is the true witness of mankind that those things spoken by God’s prophets are hated, ridiculed and slandered. It is for the reason of this very unjust spirit that God will now no longer hold back the tribulation upon the end of this age.

If you were found in the wild where a lion roared, you would fear! But prophecy is roaring and no one seems to hear, let alone fear. And the events spoken of in prophecy make a lion at hand seem tame. But headlines and the news contained in it are now roaring so loudly, as these contain the exact emergence of what God has long ago given in prophecy. Yes, when it comes to the news, “who can but prophesy?”

The ten horns which you saw are ten kings, who have received no kingdom as yet, but receive power as kings one hour with the beast [referring to the ten nations that make up the final European Union in the seventh revival of that old Roman Empire that is right now being pressured into its final formation]. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.” (Rev. 17:10-13)

“And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying to me, ‘Come here and I will show to you the judgment of the great whore [speaking of the great church that has had religious sway over all seven revivals of the old Roman Empire] who sits upon many waters, with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk [speaking of the false economic system that is fast moving toward a complete global collapse, as it is even right now staggering] with the wine of her fornication.’” (Rev. 17:1-2)

Indeed, time is fast running out and world conditions are about to change drastically. In the midst of this time, God cries out and asks that people answer His question, “Why will you not listen, and why do you choose to suffer?”

The truth is that the world doesn’t have enough time to wait for such an outcome because what started in 2008 is now going to become much, much worse. The entire economic system is intertwined so closely together that an economic disaster in one part of the world creates a rippling effect that is felt throughout all other regions.

The bad news surrounding such global conditions is accelerating. Speeches are losing their luster as people are becoming wiser to the reality that promises, political gamemanship, and casting blame on others is producing nothing that is good.  Government, corporate, and economic leaders say much but can do nothing to turn the tide of what is beating down the economies of the world.

Europe Will Take Control
Prophetic events are now rapidly accelerating that are molding and fashioning the emergence for what will come upon the world once the Fifth Trumpet of Revelation has sounded. When that takes place, the final form of the next and last revival of the Holy Roman Empire will come to pass. It will be exactly as Herbert W. Armstrong was given to see: Ten nations in Europe combining to form this last resurrection of that old empire.

During this month of September, the world has been reeling from bad economic news on every front. That which leaders continued to insist would take only a couple of years to begin to turn around, has now turned to gloomy forecasting, predicting it will take ten years before a turn around might begin.

It is the very condition and eventual collapse of the world economy that will ultimately push ten nations to emerge as a United States of Europe—the last revival of the Holy Roman Empire with Germany at the helm. As in a great game of football or soccer, people from all quarters are giving their advice and strategies, including how the euro will survive or fail, of which countries should default or be rescued, whether and what countries should remain in the EU, and on and on it goes.

Even Timothy Geithner has been giving his advice to Europe’s leaders by speaking out in Wroclaw, Poland, at the Eurozone finance ministers meetings. The US Treasury secretary told Europe’s leaders to stop bickering and “take control” of the debt crisis that has brought “catastrophic risk” to financial markets. Of course there was much more advice contained in other comments, but what he does not know is that Europe “is taking control,” but not in a way that he could ever imagine.

The euro is not weak. It is a strong tool that has given Germany more power and influence than it has ever had in European history. It has become so powerful that most don’t even recognize how it can be used to influence, coerce, and even manipulate others into moving in one political direction or another.

Angela Merkel is a highly educated and smart woman. She did not get to where she is by being weak or lacking a grasp of politics. One of her most masterful quotes will come to be seen as, “If the euro fails, Europe fails.” Germany will not let the euro fail, and there are other euro member nations who will not let the euro fail. Because they will not let the new Europe fail.

This month, even former German chancellor, Gerhard Schroeder, called for the creation of a “United States of Europe,” saying the bloc needed a common government to avoid future economic crises. Yes, the euro is strong and it has become a powerful tool.

While the Scattered Church Sleeps
As many of the various scattered organizations following the apostasy are waiting for the 1st Seal of Revelation to be opened, they are soon going to be shocked with confronting a reality they believe is many years away. Since they know that ten nations of a United States of Europe are prophesied to come on the scene, when they see this happen “within” the next few months, they will have to confront the reality of where we are in time. Even then, pride will be an obsticle to acknowledging that the 5th Trumpet of the 7th Seal has just been blown.

This will be the long awaited time when many of those of the scattered body will finally be awakened out of their deep spiritual sleep. Those who will be truthful with themselves and with God will come to see that they were not given charge to “continue” a “work” that is described in Matthew 24:14 as, “And this gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.”

Those who repent of falling asleep will come to know that this verse was fulfilled through Herbert W. Armstrong; for when he died, that “work” ended, and the end “did come.” At his death, the Church moved from the Philadelphia Era into the Ladodicean Era. Then the prophesied end-time apostasy “did come” upon God’s true Church, and the Church was scattered.

Those who are willing to repent will come to acknowledge the truth of what God promised at the end-time and written by John in Revelation 11:3. In a literal translation, “And I [God speaking] will give my [Gk “my” – used only when emphatic] two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and sixty days clothed in sackcloth.” God’s Church has long known that at the end-time God would send two witnesses to complete His work on earth before His Son would come as King of kings.

The two are “clothed in sackcloth,” which is a prophetic expression of being clothed in humility to do the job set before them, for the world and especially the scattered Church mocks and ridicules them once they come on the scene. These two willingly accept the derision, the lies, the contempt, the mocking, and the slander of others. It is very much a part of their job and their work as a witness of human nature that has resisted God for 6,000 years and now magnified in a period of 3 ½ years, even by those who at baptism received the impregnation of God’s own spirit. It is indeed a powerful testimony/witness of the power of human nature to resist God—a lesson that will mightily benefit those who live in the Millennium and Great White Throne periods.

Global Economic Collapse
Just before those ten nations of Europe are forced together, the world will first experience a massive economic collapse. That collapse is now on the doorstep. Banks are going to fail. Brokers are going to fail. Corporations are going to fail. Governments are going to fail.

Sadly the mindset of many in the world is to run to U.S. Treasuries. What a foolish mistake. It is paper, and even beyond that, it is a series of 0’s and 1’s that is locked away in cyberspace. You cannot eat it. You cannot carry it with you to purchase anything. When the collapse comes, those treasuries will become worthless. Money supposedly stashed away in safe and secure bonds, stocks, and even bank accounts are nothing but 0’s and 1’s that are also locked away in cyberspace.

Once a bank fails, how difficult will it be to withdraw those 0’s and 1’s? How difficult will it be to sell your stock that will suddenly become toxic? How valuable are your 0’s and 1’s, which make up the binary code of today’s computer age?

One last warning! If you have any saved funds in a bank, at least be wise enough to take out some in cash and buy some extra food. Take out some and stash it away in a safe place. Because once the bank doors close, and they will close, it will be too late to get emergency cash!

You live in “fearful” times. If you are not fully awake to that reality, it is time to seek out some true reality!

Real fear has not yet struck, but it is now on the horizon. Strong warnings are sounding out with increasing intensity. However, the basic nature of man and woman is to bury fear—to “bury ones head in the sand,” hoping that when they look out once again that things will be better. We have arrived at a time when things are not going to get better, but instead are going to spiral downward with accelerating intensity.

The world is starting to come to the realization, although rather slowly, that the United States cannot resolve its financial crisis. Other nations are beginning to see that the U.S. does not have the will or means to change. It is for this reason that governments will move more rapidly toward “other” means to protect their interests—by moving themselves farther away from reliance on American stability and prosperity. Both stability and prosperity are increasingly being seen as a thing of the past—an era in decline.

You are witnessing the final events that are rapidly plunging the world into real fear, as a complete global economic meltdown finally strikes. It is now accelerating. Nations are just beginning to become aware of that inevitable reality. It is for this very reason that world war will also quickly follow a global economic meltdown. War is the only “means” through which this world can deal with such crisis within their own nations. This is the real history of man and of war!

A Need for Repetition

How long will some hold out and refuse to listen? The truth is that most will never listen—never listen to God that is. They will listen to all other kind of foolish reasoning, but will not look to the One, who can truly rescue them and save them from what is now almost upon them.

People refuse to believe that they “bury their head in the sand.” The truth is that it is actually a myth that the ostrich does such a thing in a supposed effort to protect itself, but it is the truth that human nature most often acts in such a manner when it comes to real crises in one’s life. But sooner or later, survival requires action and some response to reality.

As the prophesied time of Jacob’s Trouble is about to increase in far greater intensity, it would be good to repeat a couple of paragraphs from the last Post of May 19^th.

In the last section… “We are now nearing the fulfillment of such events from the Fifth Thunder and the sounding of Trumpets that bring devastation on the scattered nations of Israel. That which was to occur within months after the beginning of the final three and one-half years was postponed for two years due to God’s mercy that He granted (a result of the two-day fast of God’s people) is now nearing that same period for fulfillment once again. It will be a time of humbling and awakening for the greater remnant of God’s people who were scattered after the apostasy, who will be blessed to live on into the beginning of the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ.”

Then, at the end of that Posting… “In closing, rather than a full three and one-half years of great suffering from massive worldwide devastation, God’s two end-time prophets are witnesses of the mercy and patience of God. This witness is at a time in the history of mankind when God’s judgment is being poured out upon the world during this final end-time. God’s judgment always has been, first and foremost, one of great mercy and patience toward mankind. Since this end-time world has refused to respond to such mercy (as it always has failed to do), now the execution of judgment has begun. A witness of two and one-half years is now passing and one year now remains.”

Time is running out! The countdown to Christ’s return continues to narrow. The truth is—God’s truth is—there are now 42 weeks remaining to the return of Jesus Christ as King of kings and the establishment of God’s government over all nations.

Then, May 27^th of 2012, will be “the Pentecost” that ushers in the greater fulfillment of what this Holy Day has always foreshadowed. In Moses’ time, the codified law of the Ten Commandments was given to the Israelites on the day of Pentecost. A little over 1,500 years later God began to pour out His spirit upon His Church that He established on that same day. Both of these events were a partial fulfillment of what Pentecost has always foreshadowed in God’s plan of salvation.

God has given great witness to mankind that His law cannot be lived without His help through the power of His spirit dwelling in mankind, all of which is contained in the foreshadowing of Pentecost’s purpose and meaning.

The next great step in the fulfillment of Pentecost is only a little over a year away when Jesus Christ will come as King of kings to rule over this earth. Jesus Christ is called the first of the firstfruits, but at his return there will be the 144,000 with him, those who are resurrected as the greater portion and the complete number of firstfruits (fully of mankind) of God’s Family and of His Kingdom that will rule with Christ.

The Scattered of the Worldwide Church of God

How can something so extraordinary and of such magnitude happen in only a little over a year from now, when so many end-time prophecies are yet to be fulfilled? It would seem totally incredulous to most people who were once part of the Worldwide Church of God before its scattering (for any who still hold to some belief of an end-time), that such an event could possibly happen in such a time-frame.
