Interview Comments
On this page I will mention some of the things covered in interviews, and I will also add comments other than what I stated during the interview.

April 3 WSBA 910 AM in Harrisburg, PA with Dennis Edwards
This interview with Dennis Edward in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania was another good interview in the sense that I was given a lot of latitude to explain what the message of the book was all about. As the interview got well under way, some fiery conversation came to the forefront as Dennis was not fully pleased with what he was hearing, but he still handled the interview on a professional level and allowed me to clarify many points. Toward the end, I believe he realized I was not just being caustic and critical of the foundational beliefs of traditional Christianity because I had some kind of a prejudiced ax to grind, but that there was Biblical backing to the response I had for his comments. His tone and interest seemed to change a little by the end, and I hope that over the next year he will have even greater interest as events begin to unfold as I described.

April 3 KLBM 1450 AM in La Grande, OR with Bobby Hollowwa
In an interview with Bobby Hollowwa in La Grande, Oregon, I was again given good latitude to explain much about 2008-God’s Final Witness. Bobby gave me such good latitude to talk about the book that I don’t have much to comment on concerning the interview except to say that it would really be good if I was always afforded such opportunity and time to explain the book. There was an enthusiastic response from the mention that the book was free. Many seem surprised by this because in the back of the mind of most people they believe the book has been written like most others are – for money! They are pleasantly surprised when they learn it is not about money.

April 2 KCOL 600 AM in Loveland, CO with Keith Weinman & Gail Fallen
The interview on KCOL in Loveland, Colorado with Keith Weinman and Gail Fallen was one of the best yet. The professionalism of both Keith and Gail was refreshing. When I had this interview I recorded it, but later I went to the station website and listened to their introduction and decided to record this as well and add it to our Interviews section. They did a very good job preparing the audience for the interview.
Although these hosts did not know me and did not know the differences in religious belief concerning the end-time, they were still very professional in their questions and did a great job keeping to program moving forward. It was a genuine pleasure visiting with them and I will hold them to a future interview early next year. They will be at the top of my list for radio hosts to be contacted.
It is not expected that any of the radio hosts are going to believe what is being said, but I have to say that Gail Fallen was certainly well versed in many of the teachings of end-time beliefs of others and that helped generate intelligent questions. And Keith Weinman admitted he did not know the subject that well, but he did pick up on much of what I said and he tended to get to the heart and core of it with his remarks. On our Interviews page I am going to keep this interview at the top of the page because it would be good for new people that visit our site to listen to this interview first.
Keith Weinman picked up on the fact that the books are free and that this is not about selling books, and he reminded people of this at different stages of the program.
In addition to the interview, I have also included some of the comments callers made after the interview.
A man named Marty called in with a typical Protestant reaction by saying that Revelation was basically a message to seven churches in Asia Minor and that people were simply being told to be faithful, and that no matter how bad things got they could have victory through the Lord. Marty isn’t to “up” on his reading of the Book of Revelation because after the fourth chapter the book begins to talk about the end-time and the horrific events that are going to come on this earth. Marty said that no matter how bad it looks that you are just to be happy and don’t worry about tomorrow, but simply enjoy today. That had to be one of the stupidest comments yet! The Book of Revelation is filled with warnings about the end-time and is given to people so that they can be better prepared for what is coming. People should indeed be concerned and have genuine worry/concern about what is coming in 2008. They should have enough concern to be able to recognize God’s true messengers when they come on the scene. The reason: so that they will know who to listen to, and indeed listen! Marty’s advise is more along the lines of “eat, drink, and be merry” by keeping your head in the sand and ignoring anything that would benefit a person by looking ahead and preparing for what is about to happen.
And then there was Mike. He is the typical alarmist who wants so much to discredit what is so different in religious teaching to what he believes, and so much so that he is willing to slander God’s true prophet by making a deceitful interjection of a perverted false teacher/prophet by the name of David Koresh who had total disdain for law officials and his own following. Planting such comparisons is about as low as a person can get. It reminds me of those who so hated what Jesus said that they accused him of being a drunk, a false prophet, a liar, a political rebel, etc. Some people will go to any lengths to discredit others in order to raise themselves up. His waffling comments speak for itself.
As cataclysmic events begin to unfold with horrific power in this country such comments, of those who hate the truth and hate what God’s end-time witnesses/prophets are saying, will increase in slander and bitterness. God’s people and His prophets will be accused of being like religious sects/cults that have withdrawn from society, that are against government, and that defy law enforcement. Such couldn’t be farther from the truth. God’s people and His Church have always taught people to be the best of citizens in whatever country they live. They seek to uphold the laws of the land, to be good to neighbors, and to be good examples in their community. The last six commandments of God are about people living at peace with others and being good citizens in their community and country. It is about loving your neighbor. We are rapidly approaching a time when the whole world will finally learn how to do that as everyone begins to come into unity of belief of how to love God and how to love fellowman.

Mar. 28 KCIS 630 AM in Seattle, WA with Michelle Mendoza
In this interview on a “Christian Talk Radio” program, I am going to make a few more comments than usual, because this is a perfect example of traditional Christianity that functions in more of a “touchy, feel good” approach to Christianity rather than one that is realistic and genuine.
Knowing the kind of program this was, I had already determined to pull back, be patient, and allow much of the program speak for itself when it comes to what is fake and what is real. Traditional Christianity and those who are deeply involved in it are indeed in spiritual bondage. Their eyes are blind to what is true and they have adopted a pseudo-love that is fake, ingenuous, and has more to do with feeling good about one’s self. It is a form of escape and way of dealing with the pressures, sins, guilt (and guilty conscience), experienced and perpetrated abuses, the past, personal life-long battles, etc. The euphoric world of traditional Christianity tends to loose itself in nice sounding platitudes that are often engaged in speaking excessively about God, Jesus Christ, and even more so of love. They do not understand that this is not God’s love or the love of Jesus Christ, but an empty love that is steeped in words with nice sounding platitudes and good feelings, but not in Godly practice, reality, and truth.
The more deeply people are involved in practicing traditional Christianity, the deeper in bondage they become, and the more they will resist what is true, and the less likely they will be to repent in this end-time.
I felt sorry for the host, Michelle Mendoza, because she is trapped in that false world. She was not confrontational as a host and she tried to handle the subject in a very fair manner, considering. There are far more from traditional Christianity who, if confronted with the truth as I deliver it, would have been confrontational, haughtily so.
In the future, those of traditional Christianity, who choose to be confrontational will themselves meet confrontation. God addresses this in Ezekiel. “Behold, I have made your face strong against their faces, and your forehead strong against their foreheads. Like adamant stone [sometimes identified as diamond or hardened iron], harder than flint, I have made your forehead” (Ezekiel 3:8-9). God simply explains that people who are hardened in their stance against God will resist what God is delivering to them (through me) and He has therefore made me far more hardened (far stronger) in the truth than they are in what is false.
Michelle became uncomfortable and quickly changed the subject when I explained to her that the book was not the result of my research, but it was because I was a prophet and one of the end-time witnesses.
The first caller, Don, said we don’t hear enough about the scriptures that talk about the good things that will be happening in the end-time, especially about the great revival, the great harvest, in Africa and China. I did not address such a foolish statement as the interview would have drifted into meaningless frivol and away from the message of the book. There is no religious revival taking place in any part of the world. The meaningless efforts of false Christianity to proselytize is a counterfeit to the true time of salvation that is about to be opened to the world when Jesus Christ returns to establish God’s government and God’s one true Church over all the earth.
Another caller, toward the end, wanted to ask if I was a “pre-trib” or a “post-trib.” At first I could not hear what he said, and when I finally heard what he was saying I did not choose to address this in what he was fishing for since it would be totally distracting from the purpose at hand (which I repeated in all its proper order). This concerns the timing Jesus Christ comes to this earth. Traditional Christianity holds to different ideas that are all off base, and the main belief is in a rapture (a kind of “place of safety”) where true followers will be spared the hardship of the end-time tribulation when Jesus Christ returns first to whisk them away from having to experience the tribulation that is about to come. But there is no “place of safety.” There is no rapture, and Jesus Christ will not return until the very last day of the final three and one-half years of great tribulation. Both this caller and the host had a bit of a “private” chuckle about this because they were in agreement with each other concerning a return of Christ before the tribulation begins which is opposite of what I was saying.
Indeed, I so look forward to the time that all religious ignorance, blindness, and haughty stubbornness is brought to an end and all eyes are opened to see the genuine beauty in the truths of God.

Mar. 27 WBZ 1030 AM in Boston, MA with Jordan Rich
This interview was refreshing because the host, Jordan Rich, did a very professional job. Many of the people who have book interviews do not prepare themselves very well for the subject at hand. It was evident that Jordan Rich had put some good thought into this before he actually did the interview. My job would be a lot more rewarding if there were more people like this who would do their job in this kind of professional manner.

Mar. 22 WKCT-93 in Bowling Green, KY with Roy Brassfield
This was a rather short interview, but a lot was covered in that period of time. Roy Brassfield wanted to know if the Antichrist was alive today. He didn’t necessarily like my answer, as I explained that there are a lot of interpretations of the Bible that are in error. Traditional Christianity and many of the Churches of God have been confused over such scriptures. Most people in the Worldwide Church of God never understood that antichrist was a description given by John to describe those who had been called into the true Church and who had, in time, turned against Jesus Christ by refusing God to dwell in them by their refusal to receive and live the way God was revealing to them. That is at the very core of why the Church of God was scattered and vomited out of God’s mouth as it says about the Church of Laodicea—the last Church era before the return of Jesus Christ.
So many confuse the description given by John with that of a great false prophet that will arise at the end-time and be joined together with the Beast Power that rises in Europe and also brings the United States into captivity (conquers the U.S. after its initial demise from the first four trumpet blasts of the Seventh Seal). I did not answer his question about an antichrist as he seemed to want, but on the other hand it can be said that the false prophet for the end-time is alive and already holds great religious power in Europe. That individual will be exposed for who he is during the Great Tribulation when the two witnesses are doing their great work.

Mar. 20 WATR 1320 AM, Waterbury, CT with ED Flynn
Ed Flynn gave me good opportunity to explain the book. As with a lot of prophecy, it is difficult for people to keep everything straight concerning what is going to happen to specific nations. Ed Flynn did comment on how much he felt pagan beliefs had infiltrated religion in Europe, but we did not have sufficient time to show how much that very thing has happened in all of traditional Christianity—a message that many people are not too happy to receive.

Mar. 19 CNN Radio in an interview with Pat St. Claire
In this interview with CNN Radio, Pat St. Claire was genuine and somewhat startled by what she heard. Before the interview ever got started, they were having difficulty getting a clear sound over their telephones. I called them a couple of times and they called me a couple of times trying different things in order to have the interview. I have included some of that conversation that took place before the interview began. It reminds me of what often happens when we get ready to have our webcast for Sabbath services.
Pat St. Claire was very much to the point and professional. After the interview, my heart did go out to her because she commented, in a kind of despair, that this was all very sobering and that she had concern because she has young children. Truly, it is my great desire that she and her family, and that people like her, will repent early on and have opportunity to live into that new world that is coming when Jesus Christ returns to establish God’s government on earth.

Mar. 19 WLW 700 AM, Cincinnati, OH with Mike McConnel
The interview with Mike McConnel was a little more intense for me because it reminded me of some of the most basic reasons why people have not listened to the prophets that God has sent through the ages. People believe they can worship God any way they like. People see no problem with disobeying God. There is no fear of God. As a prophet, I am thankful to live at this age when God is getting ready to correct this arrogance in mankind. Although I was treated well, I was frustrated that we must wait a little longer before people will be given proof of the time in which we live.
Some called into the program after the interview was over and I have included these. They are placed there to testify to the sad reality of the Biblical ignorance and lack of fear that people have when speaking about God any way they choose. And the host of the show said that he would loose no sleep tonight because of what he heard me say. Sad! Because the day is rapidly approaching when he will deeply wish he had been able to react differently.
Some people are eaten up with God’s Church speaking out about the truth, especially the Sabbath. They want to twist and believe untruths in order to give their beliefs more credibility. They want to discredit the organization of the Worldwide Church of God when it was God’s Church (it isn’t today), or they simply want to tear down the leader that God had placed over it, Herbert W. Armstrong. Mr. Armstrong died in 1986, yet people still show great disdain and hatred for what he stood for—God’s truth and God’s Church.

Mar. 13 KLFD 1410 AM in Litchfield, MN with Aaron Imholte
In this interview with Aaron Imholte, I was given good latitude to discuss the book. He wanted to know how people might tell a difference in this message about the end time compared to others who have cried “wolf.” That is the very reason this book was written, because people cannot tell a difference on their own. They need proof! With all the religious confusion and overwhelming interpretations of the Book of Revelation, “How can people know what to believe?” This was written to foretell events before they happen so people could know who to listen to that was telling the truth because no man can foretell such events. God has to be in it if it happens exactly as it is written.
Religious opportunists will jump on the bandwagon when great tribulation does begin, but only one person will have foretold them in advance exactly as they will happen.
Aaron Imholte wanted to know, “Why would God be responsible for murdering six billion people?” God does not control man. Man is responsible for his own murders and wars. God has chosen this time to intervene in world affairs in order to deliver/save mankind from self-annihilation. Jesus Christ is going to return in great power to save man from self-destruction and usher in a new world government where He will reign over all nations and man will no longer do so. Some refer to this time as the “World Tomorrow.”
As with so many who want to find fault with God’s Church, questions were asked about predictions made by God’s end-time apostle, Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong. Much of what Herbert W. Armstrong had to say about prophecy has misquoted and generally always taken out of context. However, I did explain to Aaron Imholte that there is a difference between being a minister (or apostle) and seeking to understand prophetic events in the light of known doctrinal truth, and that of being a prophet who does foretell events before they happen. I did explain to him that I, Ronald Weinland, am a prophet. It was explained that in the last three and one-half years of great tribulation, two end-time prophets (the two end-time witnesses of Rev. 11) would come on the scene to do great works, and again, I told him I was one of them.

Mar. 13 KGAB 650 AM in Cheyenne, WY on “The Morning Show”
This interview with Dave Chaffin was a little different than most in that he reflected an awareness that many just don’t have. It was certainly more refreshing than most.
Toward the beginning, we focused on the nations that would rise in Europe, once the U.S. comes to its demise, after nuclear terrorism cripples New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Houston and other cities. Germany will once again be at the head of a new European super power. In actuality, a union of ten nations, with Germany at its head, will determine that they must step in to fill the vacuum left by the demise of the U.S. This United States of Europe will actually intervene to prevent the U.S. from retaliating against the terrorism it experiences. Europe will act swiftly in a blitzkrieg attack to take control of what remains of the U.S.
Dave Chaffin astutely focused on one section of 2008—God’s Final Witness that speaks of the religions that have emerged from the lineage of Abraham (Judaism, Islam, and traditional Christianity), and he made a kind of paraphrase of the book by saying that “none of these religions have gotten it right in terms of God’s truth.” Quoting the evidence of what is taking place in the Middle East, he said that this is “right on target,” and that I have “really nailed this” in the book. Even after reading this, there are many who simply don’t get this fact about these three major religions.
Indeed, it is mightily important that people come to see that religion is at the heart and core of this world’s problems.
Later in the interview, Dave Chaffin perceptively observed a matter concerning these end times that most people just can’t quite grasp. He spoke of those who have made declarations (who were living during those times) that the end times had come during WWI and WWII, but noted that when it comes to “God’s time,” that this is but a blink of an eye. He is exactly right! This past 100 years has all been part of the end time. It has been especially in this last hundred years of technology that we have been thrust into the end time, the time when man would be able to annihilate himself if God did not stop it! This final 100 years of God’s 6,000 year plan for man’s self-rule is but a short time. With millions upon millions of years of planning, 100 years to God is but the blink of an eye. We too must remember that the final three and one-half years of great tribulation will pass and that God will mercifully intervene to prevent man from destroying himself. There will be many who have the incredible opportunity to live into a new age—a new world where Jesus Christ rules in peace and genuine prosperity throughout the whole earth.
Mar. 4 WBT in Charlotte, NC with Don Russel on the Morning News
This was a short, basic interview about the new book, and we did not record it. Interestingly, Charolette is the headquarters of two splinter groups from the Worldwide Church of God. The leaders of both groups are mentioned in Chapter 4 of 2008—God’s Final Witness, and Rodrick Meredith is mentioned by name. As the leader of the Living Church of God, Roderick Meredith is mentioned as one of many ministers who will die as a result of the prophesied Fifth Thunder.
Many such ministers, who should have known better, have denied the true witness of God concerning the Church and these end times. Rodrick Meredith’s greatest failure as a minister was to deny the very one that God raised up at the end-time to reestablish truth to His Church and thereby fulfill role of His end-time Elijah. It was Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong that God raised up to fulfill that role. Roderick Meredith and many other ministers like him simply refer to God’s end-time Elijah as a “good teacher,” from whom they learned a great deal. The truth is, they would know nothing if God had not raised up Herbert W. Armstrong to fulfill that great job of the end-time Elijah.
The minister who formed the Church of the Great God is John Ritenbaugh. He too is one that is prophesied to be part of the Fifth Thunder. One of the most perverted doctrinal changes he made was to ignore truth that God established through Herbert W. Armstrong concerning the proper way to count Pentecost. There are many years in which his group observes Pentecost a week late due to his rejection of basic truths revealed in 1974 to Herbert W. Armstrong about the true way to count Pentecost.
Indeed, the Living Church of God, under the leadership of Roderick Meredith, and the Church of the Great God will be two of the first that fall when the Fifth Thunder begins to sound in the Churches of God that have failed to repent from God’s correction.
